In the week ending 18 Sept, refinery margins showed varied activity across US, Asian, and European markets. The Asian Refinery Margin closed at $43.74/bbl (+1.26/bbl w/w). The European Refinery Margin experienced a strong climb from $24.56 to close at $30.46/bbl (+3.92/bbl w/w). Finally, the US Refinery Margin finished at $42.03/bbl, gaining +$2.18/bbl w/w.

  • European Margins: European refinery margins saw notable changes during the week ending 18 Sep; EBOB Crack climbed strongly +$4.98/bbl w/w to $39.02/bbl and GO Crack improved significantly +$3.98/bbl w/w to $94.59/bbl, while Naphtha Crack fell -$1.25/bbl w/w to -$4.8/bbl.
  • Asian Margins: Asian margins saw diverse movement across both benchmarks as of 21 Sep; on GO Dubai Cracks, the margin rose sharply +$3.52/bbl w/w to $100.42/bbl. On Dubai cracks, 92 Crack also moved up +$4.47/bbl w/w. Conversely, looking at Brent cracks, MOPJ Crack declined -$2.04/bbl w/w, and 380 Crack fell slightly - $1.03/bbl w/w to $-2.79/bbl.
