France, with assistance from the UK, is taking a leaf out of the pirate playbook and escalating aggression against Russia’s “shadow fleet.” Today, the French navy boarded the Grinch (IMO: 9288851), fully laden with Christmas cargo, having left Murmansk in late December. Grinch stole Christmas, but Macron stole Grinch… The vessel was heading toward the Suez, before disappearing from public vessel-tracking systems. Macron said the vessel is under international sanctions and suspected of flying a false flag.
